Salif Keïta — The Golden Voice of Africa

Legendary singer Salif Keïta performing with his full electric band at Leverkusen Jazz Festival, Germany (booked by One World Music). I had the privilege of meeting the Maestro backstage before the concert and documenting his performance from the photo pit. Throughout the show, it often felt as if he was looking directly into my lens, creating a series of remarkably intimate portraits despite the scale of the performance. One of these photographs was later selected as the cover image for Salif Keïta's latest single and became the main image on his official Spotify Artist profile, reaching more than 7 million monthly listeners.
